Joe Fortes Seafood and Chophouse is a Vancouver dining landmark. The name of the restaurant was inspired by Joe Fortes, a local legend and seaman who landed in Vancouver in 1885.

At dinner, appetizers cost around $16 CAD, grilled fish and shellfish dishes cost from $25.95 to 48.95, steak dishes cost between $27.95 and $42.95. The restaurant offers an early bird three course menu from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. for $28.95.

At lunch, appetizers cost around $15, fish and shellfish from the grill cost from $21.95 to $68.95, and sandwiches cost between $14.95 and $31.95.

The restaurant is located at 777 Thurlow St., in the West End neighborhood in Vancouver, near the intersection with Robson Street. Joe Fortes Seafood and Chophouse is open for lunch from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, for dinner from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. each night of the week, and for brunch Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
